Tips to practice mindful eating

Eating mindfully is important to not only make sure that we are eating the right food but also in the right amount and in the right way. Here are certain tips that will help in starting to eat mindfully

1. Pay attention to what you choose to eat:

Being aware of what you eat every day is the first thing that you should keep in mind when it comes to mindful eating.

2. Practice eating highly nutritious foods:

Foods like turmeric, ginger, aloe vera, and garlic are often called superfoods. They help in making our immune system stronger and help in the overall well being of the body.

3. Savour the food on your plate: 

Chew your food slowly and enjoy every bite of it as you eat it. This will help in better digestion of the food and also help you stay satiated for a longer period of time.

4. Practice portion control:

Always be aware of the portion of food that you are having for each food in your diet. This will help you from not overeating and keep your diet under check.

6. Make smaller portions of each food:

8. Start your meal with a soup or salad: 

Start eating your food by first eating the soup or salad this will make your stomach feel fuller earlier in a way that when you will start having grains or cereals you will not end up eating too much.
